In the VA Historical Magazine Vol. XXXV, December 31, 1927 there is data entitled VA Council Journals, 1726-1753, about the genealogy of the Cocke family. On page 28 in eight generation it reads that Elizabeth Cocke married first Joseph Henderson June 11, 1839 in Memphis TN. They had one daughter Catherine. Joseph Henderson died in 1843. Catherine Henderson married Tighlman H. Bunch of Memphis TN on Nov 20 1860. T. H. Tighlman died in 1866 and Catherine remarried Edwin Henry Skipwith of Little Rock AR. By her first marriage Catherine had one son Tighlman Howard Bunch and one daughter Laura Tate Bunch.
